Program Interface
ShowtimePlayer Help: Workspace and Tools Overview
This section describes the main program control elements, menu layout, and workspace principles.
1. Top Menu and Toolbar
The Top Menu is located at the top of the window and contains global project management functions:
- General Settings: Audio configuration, interface, and general program parameters.
- Mapping Settings: Hotkey assignment menu, MIDI, and OSC controller settings.
- Data Backup: Tools for creating project backups and restoring the show database.
The Volume Control block is located in the upper right corner:
- Volume Slider: Adjusts the global audio output level (Master Volume).
- Mute Button: Speaker icon. Instantly mutes the sound.
2. Playlist Management
The playlist management zone is located below the top menu.
Table Structure
The track list is displayed as a convenient table:
- Name: Filename or show name.
- Size: File size on disk.
- Duration: Total track length.
- AI (Intelligent Analysis): Neural network processing status. Shows if the track has been analyzed for stem separation or structure.
Tip: Right-click on a playlist tab to rename or delete it.
3. Waveform and Transport Panel
The Main Waveform occupies the center of the interface. This is the workspace for visualizing audio signals, navigation, and placing timecode triggers.
Analysis Modes (Data Types)
Volume
Combined waveform merging all frequency bands. Displays overall peak dynamics.
Spectrum
FFT analysis split into three bands (High, Mid, Low). Each band can be customized separately.
AI Structure
Displays the composition structure determined by AI: Intro, Chorus, Verse, and Breakdown are colored differently.
Info Panel and AI Stems
Timer and BPM: Displays current position and tempo. Clicking the timer switches modes (Elapsed / Remaining).
AI Stems: Buttons for toggling tracks (Vocals, Drums, Bass, etc.) appear at the bottom after deep analysis. This allows isolating instruments for precise synchronization.
Transport and Navigation
The playback control panel is located below the waveform:
- Play / Pause / Stop: Standard player controls.
- Zoom: Scale slider (or Ctrl + Mouse Wheel).
- Follow Mode: The "Follow Indicator" checkbox locks the playhead to the center of the screen.
4. Show Script and Integrations
Show Script (Left Panel)
The main workspace with tabs:
- Script: Chronological list of all triggers.
- Setup Strip: Initialization (Init) and completion (End) commands.
- BPM Trigger: Assigning actions to the rhythm beat.
- LUA: Script editor and event log (LOG).
Toolbar (Right Panel)
Library of tools to drag and drop into the script:
- History: Recently used commands.
- Dynamic Tabs: Appear when plugins are activated (Avolites, GrandMA2, MIDI, OSC, ArtNet).
Mode Panel

LOOP
Loops the track or the entire playlist.
LIVE
Simulation. Instant trigger execution when clicking anywhere on the track.
TIMECODE
Enables/Disables output timecode generation.
TOP
Pins the program window on top of other windows.
